EarthServer

The EarthServer (European Scalable Earth Science Service Environment) project aims at open access and ad-hoc analytics on massive Earth Science data, based on the OGC geo service standards Web Coverage Service (WCS) and Web Coverage Processing Service (WCPS). The EU FP7 e-Infrastructure project will establish, based on rasdaman, a pilot which will be practically evaluated and demonstrated on several 100+ TB databases. As an extra-European partner, NASA participates.

AIP-4

Together with EOX, rasdaman GmbH estables a demo for the ad-hoc analysis of earth observation data and presents it to GEOSS.

OWS-8

Together with Jacobs University, EOX, and further international partners, rasdaman GmbH developes specifications for WCS extensions, works on a corrigendum (WCS 2.0.1) on the WCS standard, and establishes a demo for the retrieval and processing of 2D to 5D raster data.
