the GDAL driver code, allowing GDAL to use rasdaman as another storage format, has been approved by GDAL and is in their repository now.

Today, the new geo raster service standard Web Coverage Service (WCS) 2.0 has been adopted by Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). The specification has been developed in a collaboration of Jacobs University and rasdaman GmbH.
